The beautiful, safe and patrolled Noosa Main Beach has a 50m mobility mat from the boardwalk to the sea. A beach wheelchair is available for hire from the Noosa Heads Surf Life Saving Club, and accessible car parking and bathrooms are nearby.
Discover the home of Noosa's resorts, boutiques, restaurants and galleries. With a wide, accessible pavement, most shops are street level and a short pathway connects to Noosa's Main Beach. Crossing points have tactile markings to help people with low vision.
Open-air restaurants and bars open on to the wheelchair-accessible beach boardwalk along Noosa Main Beach, behind Hastings Street, Noosa Heads. The views are stunning!
The coastal track through Noosa National Park has spectacular views of Laguna Bay and is suitable for assisted wheelchair access as far as Dolphin Point - from the Noosa Main Beach boardwalk at the end of Hastings Street, along Park Road.

The Noosa River foreshore in Noosaville has a lovely, flat riverfront path with picnic areas, accessible children’s playground, and nearby cafes.
Boat hire and cruises offer varying levels of access.
Pirate Playground in Lions Park, Noosaville has a wheelchair-accessible Liberty Swing, and the Hinterland Adventure Playground in Cooroy (pictured) has accessible features including a flying fox.
Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club offers a Sailability program, and Noosa Heads Surf Lifesaving Club runs Seahorse Nippers.
For amazing views, Laguna Lookout in Noosa Heads and Mt Tinbeerwah Lookout in Tewantin are wheelchair-accessible.
The lakeside Noosa Botanic Gardens on Lake Macdonald, Cooroy, have paved paths, picnic areas and a Greek-style amphitheatre!
Shops, cafes and restaurants at the Noosa Marina, Tewantin, have ramp access. Markets are held every Sunday morning (pictured).
A short path leads to the Noosa Regional Gallery which is also wheelchair-accessible.
Not far from Noosa are Australia Zoo, Sea Life Aquarium, The Ginger Factory, Eumundi Markets, Maleny Botanic Gardens and Bird World (pictured), Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, and the historic Mary Valley Rattler train which all offer accessibility services for visitors.
Noosa hosts a calendar of sporting, food and cultural events, and we encourage event organisers to ensure visitors of all abilities are catered for. The Noosa Special Tri is held each year as part of the Noosa Triathlon program; the Noosa Ultra-Trail welcomed its first adaptive athlete in 2023 (pictured); and the Ocean Heroes Event has surfing fun for kids on the autism spectrum.

Noosa Arts Theatre has a dedicated wheelchair space (please book by phone). Noosa Regional Gallery has level access from the lower car park and accessible toilet facilities.

Our fully trained volunteers and staff can assist you with accommodation and tour bookings, maps and brochures, and great local advice and directions.
