Beachside villages from Peregian and Sunshine to Noosa Heads are the heart of Noosa’s dining and nightlife. Whether you’re eating out on the beachfront, people-watching on Hastings Street, or checking out Noosa Junction’s cool bar scene, Noosa has an incredible range of dining choices.
You may have already picked up that we love our food here in Noosa, and we’re blessed with plenty of fresh, local produce; award-winning restaurants with stunning views; cool bars and breweries; cafes for all tastes that serve up locally roasted coffees; great fish & chips; or you can pack a picnic hamper and find a beautiful spot by the beach.
At the centre of it all is Hastings Street, just a few steps from Noosa’s Main Beach. Hastings Street buzzes from coffee carts at sunrise to Champagne brunches, long lunches, sunset cocktails in open-air bars, and beachfront dinners. Follow the twinkle of Hastings Street’s fairy lights or take a moonlit stroll along the beachfront boardwalk just steps from this popular resort strip. Let the chilled sounds of live music or DJ beats guide you to a seat at one of Noosa’s best nightlife spots.
From beachfront to street chic and casual takeaways, Hastings Street has a mouth-watering choice of cafes, bars, award-winning restaurants, ice-cream shops, delicious pizzas and burgers – many with breathtaking views over Noosa’s Main Beach.
Go from locally roasted coffee and organic poke bowls to fresh seafood platters and beachfront cocktails, with a chip-bab in between! Then by night, hop from bar to bar, sipping some of Australia’s finest cocktails and chilling out to the sounds of live music or DJ beats.
Locale Noosa is a little slice of Italy tucked into one end of the street with their bar menu offering a delicious range of cicccetti, pizzas and more Italian goodness. If you love your Henschke or fancy a Grange, Rumba located beneath Sails has a supper club vibe and offers one of the largest collections of wines in Queensland, while you can't go past Sails for absolute beachfront heaven.
For cocktails and DJ beats, check out Miss Moneypenny's (pictured above right), or for live music, head to 10 Hastings St Cafe; for casual dining with a killer view, Bistro C has it all; and for streetfront action, head to Rococo or La Vida.
