Hidden spots to hangout in Noosa this Summer!

Pack your swimmers, sunnies and shorts – Noosa’s got your summer holiday sorted, whether stretching out on a beach, river fishing, mountain abseiling, dining out, boutique shopping, paddling, sunset cocktails or cool brews are your thing.

You might already know picturesque Noosa’s Main Beach but did you know the Noosa region has about a dozen beaches and bays to discover – from the seaside village of Peregian Beach to the pristine Noosa North Shore with long stretches of sand for 4WDing and walking trails through ancient dunes and forests.

Pictured below, from left: A selection of Noosa's many beaches - Peregian Beach, Noosa North Shore and Little Cove in Noosa Heads.

Peregian Beach is just 10km from Noosa Heads, along the coastal road or bikeway, and its chilled vibe makes it the perfect summer getaway. Stay in beachside resorts including (pictured below from left), the serene The Retreat Beach Houses or family-friendly Glen Eden Beach Resort, or find the perfect holiday house with Holiday Homes @ Noosa.

Walk to nearby Peregian Village Square and the beachfront shopping strip with their friendly restaurants, cafes, takeaways, markets and live music set under shady trees.

From the resorts that line Noosa’s Main Beach and Hastings Street, to the waterfront getaways of Noosa Sound, Noosaville’s riverside retreats and the hinterland’s hideaways, there’s a holiday spot for everyone.

Just a short journey across the Noosa River via the car ferry at Tewantin is Noosa North Shore – more than 80km of unspoilt open beaches and forest wilderness. Stay at (pictured above, from left) the luxury Beach Road Holiday Homes or the tourist park of Noosa North Shore Retreat with its bistro and kids’ activities. There’s also beachfront camping at Noosa North Shore Beachfront Campground.

Equathon Noosa
