If the thought of a hen’s party filled with dress-ups and too many rainbow-coloured drinks fills you with dread, don’t worry, we’ve got you. Noosa is full of laidback options that promise a weekend of chilled-out hen’s party fun. We’ve put together the ultimate grown up hen’s party itinerary. Get ready to relax!
Day One - 11AM
Arrive at your Noosa hen’s party accommodation – ideal options include The Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort with swim-up bar and night-time party spot The Cabanas, or Pepper’s Noosa Resort, with its tranquil rainforest surrounds just moments from Hastings St. Drop off your bags and get ready to meet your personal driver who will transport you around town for the weekend – no maps, navigation or designated driver required. Feeling relaxed yet?
Day One - 11:30AM
Your friendly driver will take you out of town and through the rolling hills of the Noosa Country, headed for Pomona Market. At this real-deal country market, you can sample organic local produce, cheeses, honey, breads, and pastries, and browse locally handmade craft and pottery. Grab a coffee or organic chai tea and browse the stalls while chatting with the locals. Head across the road for lunch at the locals-favourite Pomona Distilling Co, where you’ll find perfect bistro-style fare and small-batch house-distilled spirits in the beautiful surrounds of a restored original Queenslander.
Day One - 2PM
Your chauffeur awaits to take you back to Noosa Heads and the luxurious Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas. After checking in and checking out the luxury villa-style rooms, change into your best beach attire and head to the pool for some serious poolside relaxing - with a cocktail in hand and a bite to eat of course. Soak up a little Noosa sunshine, take a dip, and feel relaxation wash over you. Or head into the tranquil surrounds of Stephanies Ocean Spa, the onsite spa offering water therapy, immersive flotation experiences and deluxe spa treatments.
Day One - 5:30PM
Back to the room to get changed – the dress code for this evening is “creative cool”. Noosa is now home to two “paint and sip” studios where you can explore your creative side while sipping on a drink or two. Check out Frida’s Sip ‘n’ Paint in Noosa Junction, for an evening of painting complete with wine and ploughman’s platters. You’ll each create your own masterpiece to take home as a memory of your hen’s weekend in Noosa.
Day One - 8PM
Finish the evening with a dinner drink and drinks in the moody interiors of Locale Noosa, which serves delicious authentic Italian fare and cocktails until well into the evening. Meander up the short hill to your accommodation and finish the evening on your balcony overlooking the twinkling lights of Noosa Heads stretched out below.
Day Two - 8:30AM
If wake up feeling bright-eyed and refreshed, grab your girls and hit the trails of Noosa’s famed National Park, taking in the breathtaking coastline views and ocean air. Finish with coffee and a swim at Noosa’s iconic Main Beach, and you’ve had yourself a perfect Noosa morning!
Day Two - 12PM
You’ll have worked up an appetite with all that activity, so head for Noosa Marina for lunch on the water at Lucio's Marina. Frequented by locals for its fresh Mediterranean-inspired seafood dishes and creative wine list; you can while away the afternoon over delicious food and drinks, with the beautiful Noosa River as your backdrop. After lunch, hop aboard the Noosa Queen and cruise down the river, or BYO some snacks and drinks and take the quaint Noosa Ferry all the way back to Hastings Street, and head for the chic river-side Riviera Lounge in the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort for an afternoon spritz as the sun gets low.
Day two - 4PM
What’s a hen’s weekend without a little pampering? Prepare to enter a state of total bliss at The Spa at Noosa Springs Resort.
