Noosa North Shore Beachfront Campground is an absolute beachfront caravan park and campground on the spectacular Cooloola Coast. Just a short car ferry trip across the Noosa River, the campground has a wilderness vibe and is ideal for families, groups of friends, retirees and fishermen.
The beach stretches from the mouth of the Noosa River to Double Island Point and is accessible by 4 wheel drive (access less than 1km north of the park entrance). The campground itself is also accessible by 2 wheel drive vehicles.
It's a popular location for fishing, bush and beach walking, surfing and visiting the Coloured Sands. The beach is not patrolled.
Noosa North Shore Beachfront Campground is large enough that you can choose your own site. There are a small number of powered sites suitable for caravans. Bookings are essential.
Native kangaroos, goannas and birds are regular visitors to the campground and adjoining reserve, so pets are not allowed.
Toilet and shower amenities are onsite as well as limited laundry facilities. Access to the Noosa North Shore is by vehicle barge leaving from Moorindil Street, Tewantin, operating daily from 5.20am to 10.20pm.
