It’s even closer to the beachside village of Sunshine Beach with its cool restaurants, coffee shops and surf club. Nearby is a lovely little café that’s a favourite of locals and visitors, serving fresh coffee, breakfast and lunch.
The resort is set in tropical gardens that ensure a peaceful place to sit back and relax or enjoy a poolside barbecue with family and friends. If you’re feeling a bit more active, the full-sized tennis court will have you working up a thirst for those afternoon drinks.
The fully self-contained 2-storey, 2-bedroom townhouses at Beach Breakers Resort have plenty of room to move. The private balconies add to the space and relaxed vibe, and many of the apartments have beautiful views.
Sunrise Beach is patrolled by lifesavers during peak holiday periods and every weekend from September through to April.
Beach Breakers Resort is easy to find too – it you’re driving north along the David Low Way from Peregian Beach, just look out for the tennis court on the left.
