Surrounded by the beauty and tranquillity of Cooloola National Park, Noosa Everglades and Lake Cootharaba, the CootharaBAR & Bistro is the perfect spot for a relaxed meal, snack or drink.
Immersed in nature and only 20 minutes from Noosa Heads, CootharaBAR & Bistro is nestled on the grounds of Habitat Noosa Everglades Ecocamp but day visitors are also welcome to come and dine in. The bistro’s serene views extend across the green lawns and roll down towards the lake. Kangaroos often hop in to graze nearby.
The bistro serves fresh, locally sourced ingredients and is just what you need after walking the National Park trails or paddling the Noosa Everglades. The kids will love all that space to run before lunch or dinner. The bistro is open for lunch from noon to 2pm every day, and for dinner from Thursday to Sunday, 6-8pm (every day during school holidays).
Hiking and paddling is thirsty work so you’ll love the onsite Eco Brewing Co micro-brewery. The beers are made from local water that has been filtered through sand and gravel for 75 years! They’re 100% natural beers and have no preservatives, additives or flavours, and the lake view make them taste even better! The bar is open from 11am every day.
A kiosk is open on weekends from 8-11am, serving coffee and light refreshments.
The lakeside CootharaBAR & Bistro is a unique experience – definitely worth the short trip from Noosa Heads, or you can stay overnight with camping, cabins and glamping available at Habitat Noosa Everglades Ecocamp.
