Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World is 18 acres of impeccable, lush, terraced and sweeping gardens set against a spectacular rainforest backdrop – it’s a magical step into a world of stunning views and birdlife.
Gorgeous waterfalls and lakes are dotted throughout the magnificent gardens. Panoramic views of the iconic Glasshouse Mountains invite a moment, minute or hour of reflection.
Explore over 6km of walking tracks on foot or hire a golf buggy and drive yourself around.
Meet more than 700 native and exotic feathered friends as you wander through the four walk-through aviaries. An interactive, guided tour will get you up close and personal with these beautiful creatures that will probably come right up to greet you.
Garden gazebos are the perfect spot for a picnic from the onsite café - a Devonshire Tea is a must! And make sure you take time to explore the Fairy Tale Garden, tree house and other attractions.
You can even bring your dog (on a leash) for a day out and there are two Tesla charging stations.
