It began with four friends, an empty shed, tonnes of memories and a mutual passion for surf, sun and exceptional spirits.
Sunshine & Sons was born over the course of a few conversations - maybe even a few dozen. Matt, Michael, Adam and Dan’s collective decision to down tools on their current jobs and take a leap of faith was not a decision that was made lightly. But boy did it pay off.
Our aim? To capture the true essence of the Sunshine Coast; the sparkling ocean, lush Hinterland hills, the magic, those spectacularly beautiful corners of the Sunshine Coast. We set to work.
The Sunshine Coast is the kind of place want to take in, in every way possible. We needed to find everything that was great about the place and work out how to bottle it.
A tough task? Perhaps. But with years of experience between us and fire in all of our bellies, it all came together perfectly.
Our home and Distillery is located in the lush Sunshine Coast hinterland rainforest, neighbouring and just a short drive from Queensland’s iconic Big Pineapple. It’s here that we create and share our Sunshine & Sons range of spirits.
