Located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, travelling to Noosa from anywhere in Australia is easy! Once you’re here there are many ways to get around. Sunshine Coast Airport is serviced by several airlines, offering direct flights from destinations across Australia and Auckland (operated by Air New Zealand seasonally).
Multiple flights from Sydney and Melbourne operate with Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Australia, while Adelaide is serviced with Jetstar.
Noosa is a convenient 30-minute drive north of Sunshine Coast Airport and there are plenty of transport options from the airport including rental cars, taxis, Ubers, bus transfers, public buses and hotel shuttles.
Brisbane Airport is Queensland’s domestic and international gateway, with hundreds of flights departing and arriving daily. There are a number of bus services, private transfers and hire car options from Brisbane Airport to Noosa.

Noosa is an easy 1 ½ hour drive north of Brisbane along the Bruce Highway. Greyhound Australia operates an extensive bus network around Australia, with Noosa a popular stop for many travellers. For details on schedules and rates visit greyhound.com.au
If you are driving to Noosa, take the turn-off at Eumundi and follow the signs along the Eumundi-Noosa Road. If you’re arriving from the North, Noosa is around 1 hour south of Gympie. Just continue on the Bruce Highway out of Gympie and turn off at Cooroy then follow the signs along the Cooroy Noosa Road until you reach Noosa.

Although there are no toll roads in Noosa or the Sunshine Coast, there are five toll roads in and around Brisbane. If you travel on any of them on your way to and from Noosa, you can pay the toll online before you travel or up to 72 hours after travel – there are no toll booths or toll gates and the tolls are automatically calculated as your vehicle passes each toll point. Costs vary depending on the road and type of vehicle. Failure to pay incurs a fine.

Open a toll account or pay your toll through linkt.com.au/brisbane or phone 13 33 31. Accounts can be used on any toll road in Australia and passes are valid for all toll roads in Queensland.
