Noosa Council’s upgrade of the Cooroora Trail (trail 5) on the Noosa Biosphere Trails has won an Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA) Qld Excellence Award.
Tourism Noosa was involved in the Noosa Trail Master Planning process that led to the trail upgrade and has partnered with Council on the trails project for the past few years.
The trail links Pomona to Cooran via the Tuchekoi National Park – a wonderful hinterland experience for visitors and locals.
