Tourism Noosa is hosting a Local Government Election Forum exclusively for our members, to hear from candidates about their vision for tourism in Noosa before the March Council election. This is an excellent opportunity for you to seek clarity on any burning issues and put forward your questions for their response.
Save the date now for the forum and send us your questions by Thursday 8 February to help us form three key questions to put to all candidates for Councillor and Mayoral positions.
We will be inviting all candidates to appear at the forum and will request a written response outlining their vision for Noosa’s future as it relates to our vital visitor economy, based on your questions.
At the forum, candidates will speak about their responses, with further questions from independent MC, The Courier Mail Associate Editor Kylie Lang, who has an accomplished background as an MC and panel moderator.
This will be a civil tourism forum, delivered with good intent and there will be no questions from the audience on the day.
Candidates’ written responses will also be published in full for members after the forum.
This is an opportunity for our tourism industry to hear and meet the candidates, who will be invited to stay and mingle with members.
Tourism Noosa and its Board will not endorse any candidates.
