Lake Weyba is 4km south of Noosa Heads and is ideal for bird watching, kayaking, bush walking and kite boarding.
Bordered on the eastern side by National Park, it's home to a variety of wildlife - kangaroos can be seen hopping across the lake.
With a boat ramp and picnic tables at the end of Lake Weyba Drive, it's a beautiful spot for a day out, or you can stay in lakeside cottages.
