Mt Tinbeerwah is located just 15 minutes from Noosa Heads in Tewantin National Park and offers gorgeous coastal and hinterland views from the top. It's an easy 1km return hike to the top from a sealed carpark.
The walk has wheelchair and pram access to the first lookout point (130m) with views to the coast.
Beyond the first lookout the track climbs to the fire tower lookout perched 265m above sea level - an additional 300m walk. Bring your binoculars and camera to take advantage of the spectacular panoramic 360 degree views with magnificent vistas over Noosa and the Pacific Ocean.
A perfect time to go is late afternoon to catch the beautiful sunsets. Abseiling and rock-climbing is also permitted for experienced and suitably equipped people.
There are picnic tables and toilet facilities, however there is no drinking water available at the site, so please remember to bring your own.
