What to Expect

Follow the Noosa River a few minutes on from Noosaville to Tewantin, one of the Noosa area’s earliest settled towns. Catch the Noosa Ferry to Noosa Marina with its riverfront shops and restaurants or take a short walk to the main village.

Just up the road, Tewantin National Park has some of the Sunshine Coast’s best mountain bike trails, and the Mt Tinbeerwah lookout which is easy to access, has stunning coastal and hinterland views.

Makepeace Island, the luxury Australian home of Sir Richard Branson, is a 25-acre heart-shaped island just upstream from Tewantin - and you can stay there!
