As part of the grand opening celebrations for the upgraded Peregian Beach Skate Park, Plastic Free Noosa is inviting the community to join a special clean-up and waste education event on Friday 29 November. The event runs from 12-6pm with the cleanup starting around 5:00pm.
The family fun day launch includes free skate coaching, demos, competitions, games, and giveaways, and will also feature activities led by Plastic Free Noosa to raise awareness about reducing single-use plastics and keeping Peregian Beach clean and beautiful. Full schedule below;
• 12.00pm - 1:30pm: Group & one on one lessons, mentoring and demonstrations
• 1:30pm - 2:00pm: Official Opening 🎀
• 2pm - 4.00pm: Group & one on one lessons, mentoring and demonstrations and games by skateable
• 4.00pm-5.00pm: BBQ, free skate and games by skateable
• 5.00pm - 6:00pm: Best trick, product toss, Plastic Free Noosa announcement & clean up.
